About the Role:
At Dezerius, we’re expanding our Analytics Engineering team. This team collaborates with international clients in small, agile squads. As an Analytics Engineer, you’ll be at the core of our data-driven approach. Your role involves understanding client requirements and selecting the appropriate technical components from our repertoire of cloud services. These services range from Azure, Fabric, AWS offerings to more cutting-edge tools like Databricks, Snowflake and DBT. You’ll also contribute to sprint planning and play a crucial role in delivering reliable solutions that align with both client expectations and business constraints.
What You’ll Do:
- Client Collaboration: You’ll receive clear briefs from clients regarding their business needs. Your task is to translate these requirements into technical solutions.
- Technical Selection: Based on client needs, you’ll choose the most suitable components from our cloud services toolkit.
- Agile Delivery: Sprint by sprint, you’ll actively participate in creating reliable, functional solutions that satisfy clients and meet business constraints.
- Professional Growth: We celebrate your successes and support your personal and professional development.
- Reporting Structure: You’ll report to the Lead Architect, who oversees the Analytics Engineering team. While we maintain regular touchpoints, we trust you to work independently without micromanagement.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data pipelines using platform services and serverless solutions.
- Develop and test ingestion pipelines from diverse data sources.
- Create data transformations using SQL or Python (PySpark, Pandas) and third-party tools (such as DBT).
- Automate data ingestion and transformation.
Requirements:
- Strong background in data transformation, including a solid conceptual understanding and practical experience with data modeling and ETL processing. You likely have at least 4 years of intensive experience in this field.
- Intermediate software development skills, preferably in Python or with a focus on data transformation.
- Some exposure to cloud data management, particularly within Azure or AWS or GCP data stack components (including batch data management, storage, loading, and transformation of structured data structures, as well as Data Lake storage and management tools).
- Experience with Power BI and data modeling.
- Proficiency in technical and business English (both oral and written).

- Experience with Stream processing
- Experience with Python (PySpark, Pandas)

- Certifications:
- Databricks Data Engineering Associate/Professional.
- Microsoft Azure Data Engineering Associate.
- Microsoft Azure and Azure Data Fundamentals.
